Minimotor designs, develops and builds motors and other drive components for a wide range of machinery. The catalogue of the Croglio-based company offers hundreds of different models, but the site is also able to develop new solutions based on the needs and requests of the firm's clients.

The premises in Croglio (opened in 1993 and expanded in summer 2015) are the focal point for the Swiss market

• The Faulhaber family has German origins, but has always been sentimentally attached to Ticino;
• the Croglio premises are a key part of the company's European strategy.

• 45: the average number of international trade fairs and events the company attends every year;
• over 6.5 billion: the number of kilometres covered by 14 devices built by Faulhaber Minimotor and used on the Rosetta spacecraft, which has been travelling in space since 2004.

Despite being part of an international group, Faulhaber Minimotor in Croglio bases its work on the concept of made-to-measure workmanship. The aim is to take on both medium- and large-scale manufacturing assignments and projects involving the building of just a few articles, or sometimes even just one. This flexibility has allowed the company to forge agreements with international organisations, including the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
