The Mezzovico factory specialises in the production of micropumps, the dispensing systems found in all nebulised medication such as nasal, oral and ear sprays, used to treat colds, sore throats and earache.
The offices and industrial buildings have been situated on the main road in Mezzovico since 1988.
Over the years the company has proven its quality and safety record at an international level, obtaining certification to distribute its products all over the world. At the same time, it has also expanded its research and development premises, and continues to hone its industrial processes. With a turnover of over 60 million Swiss francs (55 million euros) in 2014, Aptar Mezzovico SA is a major asset for its multinational parent company, which has its headquarters in Illinois in the USA.
