- the whole of BOARD International's development lab is located in Ticino, and several years ago the company launched a close partnership with the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI);
- one of the latest versions of the software was developed in partnership with the Dalle Molle Institute, an artificial intelligence research centre affiliated with the Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI).
